Welcome to the fourth edition of the Kalmar Backyard Ultra! The race takes place on a 6,706-meter loop that starts at 10:00 AM, with a start on every full hour. Runners who cannot complete a lap within an hour must withdraw from the competition, while those who continue are considered tied for first after each lap. The winner will be the one who completes one more lap than the others, and a medal is awarded to everyone who finishes at least one lap. Of course, everyone is welcome regardless of their level of ambition.

- Why 6,706 meters? 24 laps (hours) equals 100 miles, which corresponds to 161 km, a distance considered a dream milestone for many ultrarunners.
- 12 laps give you 50 miles (80 km), and 7 laps make you an ultrarunner (42,196 m).
